Abstract:
On Independence Day 2017, the national flag was unfurled at Idgah-Maidan for the first time, closely watched by the anxious members of both communities. All key officers were transferred, and fresh blood was brought in. The mandate given to the police chief was to boost the morale of police officers and restore public's confidence in the police force.
