Abstract:
SP Dhajapur, Ramesh Kabir, is under pressure to suspend one of his officers. A big procession led by national Hindu leaders tried to enter the Idgah maidan and unfurl the national flag. To preserve communal harmony in Dhajapur, the Police had to open fire. In the ensuing chaos, two people died. Kabir must decide who is responsible for the act and put things right for the people of Dhajapur. It is an excellent case to teach the principles of bounded rationality and adaptive leadership to the participants of a leadership development class, especially relevant for officers of the Police force.
