Case: Little Leaf Convent School: A Case on Talent Management (No. IIMR-C5-01/2018)

Abstract

Mr.Vishal Gupta, the principal of Little Leaf Convent School and one of its founding members, is thinking about how to regain the school’s lost glory. He, along with Neeraj Pandey, Surya Joshi, Vedant Sharma, and Kanav Kapoor, started the school by publicizing it in various ways. Due to the team’s dedicated efforts and personal attention to their students’ academic problems, the school started doing very well in the state boards and engineering entrance (IIT/JEE) and medical entrance (PMT) exams. The consistent efforts of the teachers and students made Little Leaf one of the best schools in the city of Varanasi. The school was doing well, but the founding members felt that they were inadequately paid for their efforts. All four of them went on a strike for a period of 10 days. They were told by school authorities to get back to work, or face strict action.
